| Below are several pictures of the first ever Big Country Fan Club Convention, held at the Glen Pavillion, Dunfermline. I sat on a coach for 14½ hours that day (7½ up & 7 back)
but it was well worth it! Once we arrived in Dunfermline the coach driver had to ask directions to the Glen Pavillion. When we eventually found it we had to drive round the block
again so that the video crew could film us arriving. On entering the pavillion you were given a 'convention goody bag' with a pen, photo and VIP pass etc. There were lots of merchandise
stands and a room showing videos. The proceedings started with the playing of the new album over the PA while we sat on the floor. Next BC came onto the stage for a lengthy Q&A session,
after which they played an energetic live set. Once they had had a shower and got changed everyone queued up to get stuff signed before starting the long journey home... Full marks to
Jan for organising a really special day for all BC fans!
